Canadian Coin - pennies are still legal but not always accepted, everything else is good...right?

I found my stash of coin and trying to decide if it's worth carrying with me.

I have cans of random foreign coins and I know many of them are obsolete. Should start putting them in donation boxes like people do at the library ;) -- nm

I once had (and likely still do) a collection of tiny Swiss coins I had thoughts of making into a bracelet.
