Depends on what sticks with the middle of the nation which really hasn't changed in the last 3 years

liberals are louder, but that 20% in the middle of the spectrum -- have they changed their opinions on issues, or do they simply not like Trump and his GOP-supported policies.
Trump won by a razor's edge margin. He's managed to underwhelm and put off so many people, even with an historically good job market, but the Democrats need to understand that until something seismically changes, this nation is still a center-right nation.
People will continue to vote against their own interests in the belief that hard-work is enough. Assuming the needle has moved to center-left just because the guy in charge is odious and his puppets are rushing through terrible ideas is a short-term prayer instead of a long-term re-alignment.
