i read reviews for hotels always - but you definitely have to read between the lines. And I always read the most recent AND the one-stars specifically

i don't necessarily let bad reviews deter me - often the stuff they complain about is meaningless.
"The breakfast was terrible! I couldn't get gluten free english muffins!"
