I have to go to a conference and I'm struggling with flights. do I take off at 803 am and land at 1253 or take off at noon and land at 618?

on the one hand: more time to settle in, less airport food.
on the other hand: sleep in on departure day, less time in texas.
what would you do?

I always think of what time I will get there if there's a 2 hour delay and using the window of expected to +2 hours, which one do I want? -- nm

Depends on when you need to be there and if there's anything you want to do there. If there's nothing that day I'd probably go later, though it does

If you have no interest in touring the area then you might as well sleep in and get there later. -- nm

It is super hot in Texas, so less time in the heat -- nm

How far are you from the airport? That's a big factor for me. -- nm
