There is something that may help (and may make the game run faster/smoother).

Tap on the briefcase. In the upper left is settings. Near the bottom of settings is a thing to download all assets. I think it's a pretty large file, so it may take a while (and is probably most helpful for those without unlimited data to use while on wifi).
