Doesn't make his writing any less creepy, but they definitely miscast this.

I think the actress is phenomenal (watch Instant Family, everyone!). Her playing Dora reminds me of that time on Friends when Rachel wore her high school cheerleader uniform, though.

Fittingly, Q'orianka Kilcher plays the villain. She had previously held the title of creepiest casting of the 21st century.
