I think about OUATIH as less about the story as presented and more about ... (spoils) -- (edited)

being about story telling and truth and perception and movie making and loss of reality.
Things like Dicaprio freaking out that he forgot a line, then completely unaffected by using a blow torch on a person. It's about what is real.
That stunt stuff is part of it.
i like it more the more i think about it.
