I'm not that anti-Huffman in this.

Yeah, it sucks for the person who didn't get in because of this. There are far worse things going on at colleges than a parent doing what they can to get their apparently not smart enough kid into a school they want to attend. She's hardly the first person to do so and she won't be the last. Hopefully the student who she kept out was waitlisted and has now been accepted.
I'm much more anti-Laughlin. Her kids only wanted to go to school (and be on an athletic team) for the parties. They are spoiled rich kid instagram models. They aren't getting turned away from many college parties, possibly not any. They (or was it just one) didn't even want to go to college.
