Camping Report

This time, it was nice and sunny when we arrived at the campsite, so I didn't have to set up the tent in the rain.

We were again able to have real campfires (this summer has been wetter than normal), so that was a bit of a treat.

Instead of visiting the waterfall, I went on a very nice hike through the woods with Declan. In hindsight it was kind of dangerous given the steepness of the cliffs involved, but we made it through without incident.

Last night it rained hard, and the tent leaked in some spots ... I was able to stay dry, but in an ironic twist of fate, my air mattress had a slow leak so by the time I woke up I was basically on the ground. Dry, but uncomfortable nonetheless.

Tomorrow morning I'm going to have to unpack and unfurl everything that got wet so it can dry out.
