(Or perhaps continuous, rather - it's Bærum, the "Beverly Hills" of Norway and part of a continuing urban sprawl west of Oslo municipality borders)

Some Oslo metro lines continue into this municipality. I may be overstating this, but most Norwegians seem to be extremely conservative regarding municipalities and which is what - although our central statistical bureau (or censur bureau, if you like) operate with several layers of urban, metro and built-up area definitions and categories. This area is definitely part of both urban and metro area of Oslo. It's rich. It has very little industry. It has mainly villas - separate, large houses with gardens.
Oslo it self and the whole area seen as one, is quite distinctly divided between east and west, and most immigrants (w/descendants) - and therefore also Muslims - live in East Oslo. West Oslo, and very much so Bærum and Asker - the two large municipalities that the urban area flows into to the west - are largely white, ethnic Norwegian and affluent.
ABB grew up in Oslo West, only a short bike-ride from Bærum. It's known for youth gangs flirting with nazism and fascism (mainly during adolescence and teenage years).
