Any suggestions on where I should look for my wallet?

I used it at the library yesterday, and now can’t find it.
Checked library lost and found.
Checked the pants and laundry from yesterday.
Checked the car, even vacuumed.
Checked the credit card, no uses.
Checked under the bed and the table where I put everything else from my clothes.
I’m stumped. About to turn over the garbage can and root through it.
