The main sample is from a Gershwin tune (Summertime) is why they are credited. -- (edited)

Goodman was the Field Marshall, basically the fifth member of the band and if there is decent rapping in a song it’s him (Bradley is the bad stuff).
Not sure why the Beasties would be credited unless the cover uses a different sample somewhere.
