I know they're just suggesting the optimal temp to save funds but those temps aren't good for living comfortably. Also, they assume no one is -- (edited)

home when you're at work while many people have pets so 85F isn't realistic either.

They should give more realistic temps for us and not the ones that save money because like you said, at that point you might as well not have the AC on at all.
