I know, it's terrible. And it's actually two not three. I forgot that we turn off the bedroom AC when we get up. -- (edited)

There's one in the living room that cools that room and the attached kitchen. It's an open area. It's on all the time. It's newish so it works well and cycles off.
There's one in our media room which is the hottest room. It has a west facing window, a big TV, my Xbox and other electronics. That AC is usually on but we'll turn it off at night when we go to bed.
I'm not happy with how much we use them but I'm on the top floor of a building with no attic. It gets crazy hot in here in the summer. We can't have central air as my landlord won't upgrade the electricity or do the repairs to the roof to hold the unit.
It kills me but it's what I have to do while I live here.
