Yup. I clean up and repair old sneakers to resell and I made a mistake and left a pair outside to brighten the soles for too long. The glue -- (edited)

got loosened and the soles came right off the sneakers. I was able to repair them but it's an annoying process and a mistake I won't make again. Now I take them back in every 30-60 minutes depending on the day and let them cool off before putting them back out.
