People told me to have the car transported or sell it and get a new one on the other end. I didn't want to do either.

what route east? if it's 10 you can also go route 66 part of the way. there are fun stops all along it -- nm

Umm, Rt.66 is I-40 (to Oklahoma City) not I-10. -- nm

I was going to take I-10 all the way, but now I'm thinking I should avoid the gulf coast during the holiday weekend. nm
