I haven't been out to a steakhouse in the city in a while. Holy sticker shock!

We're trying to pick a place to go for an anniversary dinner on Thursday night and I just can't believe what it's going to cost us. I don't know if I'm being cheap but I thought $200 would be enough for dinner but nope.
Responses:
Have to figure $200 at most nice restaurants for two with a modest wine for 2. El Gougoh, fancy old school $300 and we still had to watch the budget -- nm

Cost of everything has gone up (probably more in the past year or so in the US than here in Canada, because of tariffs), and salaries/wages have not. -- nm
