So the past week or so have been mentally exhausting.

tl:dr version: flew to chicago and back, and philly and back for 2 funerals within a week. Sorry I couldn't meet up with anyone.

longer version:
Drove back from Bristol TN last Sunday, just in time to make it to a concert Sunday night.

Monday morning, get told that my stepfather's Mother (passed away on Sunday (she was 95), so start making plans to fly to Chicago for a funeral on Wednesday.

While making plans, find out my cousin went into cardiac arrest Sunday evening and went into a coma and never came out, so she passed away Monday morning. She was 51, and I spent a lot of time with her growing up in South Jersey.

So:
Flew to Chicago Tuesday (delayed 5+ hours) and got in at 1am.
Drove to Mendota, Ill, funeral for my Grandmother is Wednesday morning at 10am.
Fly out of Chicago Thursday afternoon.

Work on Friday.

Fly to Philly Saturday afternoon.
Met up with some other family members Saturday/Sunday
Monday morning funeral. (Heartbreaking, as her 18 year old son read a eulogy, as did her husband.) Spent the rest of the day with family.
When we couldn't find parking in the city for less than $30, decided to take a day to ourselves and tried a few local breweries (Yards Brewery and Love City Brewing).
Flew home Tuesday from Philly.

Back to work today.

Sorry I couldn't meet up with anyone on the two trips. The Chicago one was super fast and we were driving with my stepdad. I considered reaching out to PA area peeps on Tuesday, but we really didn't know any plans until Tuesday morning.

It's crazy how a week can be so mentally (and physically) exhausting, though.
