I think that by the end of the conversation, she was contrite. though (I neglected to mention this before)

she kept insisting that she had been emailing and texting me over the years, begging me to contact her. "you must have had me blocked!" "how, then, were you able to text me just now??"
in the end, I said to her, "my phone rings. I almost never answer it, but it rings. I have email that I check slightly more often, but I don't guarantee a reply because I'm still really fucking hurt and I don't even know how to talk to you." she said she would call or email. she has not. it's been nine days. am I starting to count again? maybe so.
I sent her a post on instagram (cheapoldhouses, yo! follow that shit!) and she has been active but not responded.
so I left it the same as it's been since chubbers was a small kitten we called cheesecake and oliver cat was just named olive. I'm waiting for nothing.
