Troye Sivan is having a bit of a row with the queer media because he was offended an interviewer asked if he were a top or bottom.

I can see how that might be offensive to some. And I certainly am not suggesting he doesn’t have the right to be offended.

But that really begs a larger question. Is it offensive because it’s asking too specific of a question about what he does in the bedroom?

Is it offensive because it’s asking what he sees his ‘role’ is in the relationship?

He mentions that straight people wouldn’t get that question. And I’m thinking, I could see a variation of ‘who wears the pants in the relationship.’

Also: If he was offended, he should have said so during the interview. Not spilling the tea on Twitter.
