The ones I have gone to notwithstanding, I really don’t like weddings. It is his and her second wedding, so I don’t even get the need for a big party.
It has been 10 or more gorgeous years since I wore a suit. I am already suffocating with the tie and limping because of the shoes.
This is the guy that used to be a very close friend of mine. I told that story last year, when I heard of the engagement. I cannot say things have improved since. I just don’t care for him anymore. I think, whatever I may feel about him, that he deserves good energy in the room and I will not provide that.
