I'm finally reading an SI column from earlier in the week. During the 2012 season, Washington had:

Mike Shanahan as head coach
Kyle Shanahan as offensive coordinator
Sean McVay as TE coach
RG3 as a rookie sensation

That team went 10-6.

It came out this week that they had *3* passing plays in their offense. They could cause so much confusion through the fear of RG3 running the ball that they didn't need complex pass plays. It actually would have hurt them in some ways.
