the first time i met her was at a holiday party - the retirees are invited. we were sitting beside each other and i had recently transitioned from tv to this job and she was asking about my previous work, etc. she said "oh, my nephew is an actor."
I said "oh, what has he been in?" (usually this conversation in Toronto leads to things like 'he guest starred on Murdoch Mysteries last year' or something.)
She said "His name is Paul Rudd. He's been in quite a few things."
I think i must have look gobsmacked. I was like "Did you say Paul Rudd? "
