They put her on it because the morphine wasn't cutting it. But they only used it for 3 days because they had to up the does every day because she was building up a tolerance. It acts fast but doesn't last long. After that she was back on morphine. She spent 3 weeks on it and had withdrawal when they stopped it. She also has a tolerance to it now and has to start at a higher does if required.
