That makes sense. So from her point of view, she is saying....

‘Look. The evidence is going to be against you. When that happens you are paying me way more than 2. If you want to avoid it, and the press, you can pay me 2.’
And he said ‘I don’t think the evidence is there. I’ll roll the dice.’
But when you come from a place where you were already asking him to invest money in you and your business, it just feels disingenuous from her.
And yes, over all of that is the nightmare of coming forward as a victim. But man, it’s just easy to see how you can second guess this stuff. And it feels like there is clearly a percentage of these cases that are pure cash grabs and not criminal at all and that is tragic for the victims of legit crimes that feel like they are optionless.
