The odd part of all of this is that Wren's acquisitions have universally been good.

We got Jair Jurrjens and Gorkys Hernandez for Renteria. I hated that trade at the time. HATED it. Renteria was coming off of a great season for us. Now, Hernandez is the centerpiece of a deal for MacLouth and Jurrjens is on the short list for best young starter in baseball.
