I’ve observed it in all facets of my life in trying to persuade people
When your best argument is “the dog may have eaten some homework”- I’ve just never seen it work
We should of course trust and verify
More important than theories about missing lines in this transcript that on its face appears complete and authentic, I’d ask for the full report, the transcript of the other calls etc
