There was a time when Gabby tried to forget

but she forgot when that was. Lindy took another drink out of the coffee mug from their favorite restaurant - the one with the red plastic cushions and the juke box on the table - Heh, E-3, Loretta Lynn's "Louisiana Woman" She took a look at the "kiss the clam" logo, smiled to herself, and remembered that cold November Saturday ....
Was she ever that young, had Lindy forgotten her? Her needs desires, wants? That primal drive to survive? It seemed a hundred years ago. Maybe a million. If stories were indeed timeless could she exist at all if she forgot? It was too much to contemplate and way to much before that second cup.
