Last of Us Part 2 looks like it might be difficult to play in part due to the realism.

First, the difficulty due to the intelligence of the AI. If you do something that disrupts a patrol while trying to sneak past (or stealth kill) them, they apparently change their patrol patterns. You also aren't ever truly in cover unless you are behind a solid object.

The other realistic part is that all the npcs have names. If you kill someone, there's a good chance that they will be referred to by name. Then reinforcements will be summoned. What will really make it rough is that the people you're going after use tracking/attack dogs. So you will likely need to kill dogs. Which can lead to their handler reacting like someone would if you killed their dog. Or you could have the dog being sad and confused when you kill their handler. There may be a thing as too much realism in video games.
