Him: are you interested in trading john smoltz?
Me: I'm interested in listening to offers. I'm not actively shopping him or anything.
Him: im not aware of your needs. making making an offer difficult.
Me: I don't know if I'm aware of any needs on my team either. I dunno, upgrade me somewhere better than Smoltz upgrades my rotation.
Him: i dont care what your record says, you have needs.
Me: Then show them to me. :)
Him: your short stop sucks. you like starting cabrera on the bench, sizemore is a scrub. pena is hitting a monster .225.
Me: So then make me an offer that upgrades one of those things.
