See I don't think there is a "part that needs to"--I think it's 99% if not all of us. To different degrees but...

Trump is the epitome of the ratings, status obsessed culture, of the self-centered, me above all else, culture...these values are not in any way shape or form unique or limited to his voters or his demographics.

There is a lot that American culture that every one of us embraces (to different degrees yes)--greed, self-righteousness, imposition of our values upon others, imperialism, unfettered capitalism--that are directly connected to Trump whether we vote for him or not.

I think it is time to really re-think our core set of values. It will not happen.
