I like Barthel but that match was one of the mentioned when I called the show boring.

I do like the personal reactions to the returning injured wrestlers.

For all of the times HHH has claimed that NXT on USA Today was long-planned, the shows seem poorly considered. They went from doing three or four filmed at once to two hours of live television every week.

They clearly weren't ready for it. They're just showing standard NXT matches. WALTER appearing twice is the only real exception, and he broke Kushida's wrist. There's pictures of Kushida at Tama Tonga's, and he's wearing the cast in the hot tub.

I'm not saying that their start is worst case scenario, but it's certainly sub-par. I think part of the problem is that the current group of NXT talents seems like a huge step down from the past few years.

They need to do a two-hour show that is on the level of their (older) Takeover events to get back on track.
