had amazing seats. 6th row in a theater (not an arena). The show was equal parts concert, multimedia performance art, cabaret show, women's empowerment meeting, dance recital, world music/travelogue and political rally. She will make you laugh at times and uncomfortable at others. It is mostly new music off her new album "Madame X" which I do like a lot. A few hits sprinkled in, but sometimes only with a verse or so. It is definitely a different experience than an arena show. Much more interactive. I'm very tired but glad I went.
And the experience of having to lock up your phone, while annoying before the show began actually does enhance the experience of watching the show. You're not tempted to check, people aren't taking pictures and video. It may be a future trend. It really did not add as much time and hassle as you would guess.
