I was doing Blue Apron for the same price point and have held off lately, but it was helpful in keeping me out of the grocery store.

grocery store = impulse buying
It got me to shift more to rice and broccoli as side dishes, and some flavor combos I have since sought out in the grocery aisles. So, not a permanent solution for dinners, but it was a good investment for a while and ultimately long term habits.
