Sixth party. It’s rare but not super-unusual for a party leader to be voted out if their party is unpopular enough.

Gilles Duceppe for the Bloc in 2011 - which is Canada’s third party in this election and a big party in Quebec, but not the rest of the country.
Kim Campbell was Prime Minister when she lost her seat in 1993.
But yeah, this was a new party, a controversial party, a party that was spun out of another party after a failed leadership bid. It’s not particularly surprising.
