STIS: So we have these "Adult Arcades" here that I think are like slot game (fish game?) places, but gambling isn't legal. What are they?

So I don't think they're slot machines that pay out money. (maybe I'm wrong?)

I don't think they're sexual (i.e. porn) places, either, but that's what comes up when I google Adult Arcades.

But I *really* don't understand what they are, or why I see them around - particularly in lower income areas and old strip malls.

Duval county recently closed a bunch of them down, but they're in other counties in Florida as well (www.news4jax.com)
