you may be aware that comic shops annually have "comicfest" mini-comics to hand out to their customers each year at Halloween. I always order a bundle of 25 each of a few titles to hand out to trick-or-treaters at home, and i had some leftovers from the past 2 years (I have a hard time of letting go of things).
So, i thought i'd take some of them to the local library in the hopes that they can use them to hand out to the little kiddos who might be coming to the library Halloween day.
The librarians were very appreciative. And apparently, they're preparing for as many as 1,000 kids next week.
Cheesus .... 1000 kids??? i know this town's a-growing, but that's a lot of kiddos coming through the library over the course of the day.
