letters? notes? that represent one half of the asynchronous written communication that Veronica and I had when we were at colleges in Northern and Southern California and we were too broke to run up long distance phone bills. An unexpected part of the whole 50th birthday month was coming across these while visiting my parents and helping clean out boxes in the garage

So many overlapping conversations....oh...I just got your letter, please, please ignore what I wrote in my last one 😆

er, I guess for that matter who can remember worrying about non-roaming phone charges?
