I completely don’t understand the red card.

Tackle. Yellow. Ref sees it’s a bad injury. Red.
No VAR at any point.
Was the injury bad? Yes. Did the tackle cause the injury? Ummmmm maybe not.
Doesn’t matter. No replay.
I’m sure Spurs would’ve found a way to screw it up regardless, which only proves your point.
