I like "advantage" actually. The problem with sticking it to race/gender though is that it over simplifies things

The advantage are as much socioeconomic as anything else (correlated to race of course), but a "white straight man" born to janitors in middle Pennsylvania is not going to agree he is "privileged" over the gay jewish kid born in the Upper East Side--because he is not.
