So I just saw a specialist for the fist time (I've seen this type of specialist before but not in NYC and it's time again). -- (edited)

She spent at least 45 minutes with me asking me questions, explaining things that can help/hurt, talking about complications that occur, asking my preferences in certain things, etc, etc. She was absolutely lovely and personable and engaged and seemed to care so much. But 45 minutes, in today's day and age. I am so impressed.
