Related to pricy business solutions...Qlikview is so damn expensive.

We were told that it's 1,500k per user. For a project with hundreds of users, that's quickly a non-starter.
Power BI is like $5k a month for the enterprise.
Responses:
geology software is apparently a different world. company used to work for was $13k/year for a single dongle, and on the low end for the industry.
