I think they did that very specifically.

They positioned the camera there. Then, they had Jericho block the shot with his back. A few seconds later, Cody came up with his dad's crimson mask. Later, they showed a replay from a safe angle.
Also, nobody seems concerned about the blood.
I'm wondering if they're setting up that famous Flair/Luger American Bash ending. A Dusty finish would be appropriate.
