Dan certainly comes off as a creeper and that has been a narrative from day 1.
Production should have been all over that shit from the get-go. Then we get the card that says Dan was warned about his behavior - but he seemed genuinely shocked by what some of the were saying in that 2nd Tribal. I mean, where was Jeff saying, "Dude, we fucking warned you about this exact thing, you can't possibly be surprised by it."
Sooooo - did they warn him? Or not?
Were these girls assaulted? Or not?
Should this issue have been addressed? Or was it game?
And then what they did to Janet was the absolute worst. She put her shit aside and said, "Fuck the game, I'm doing what's right for these girls. Damn the consequences". And they treated her like a chump.
To take it a step further - if what Dan was doing really wasn't as bad as they made it out to be - they're actively destroying his LIFE (not just his game) by making those accusations.
I honestly don't know whether to feel bad for Dan or not - because I honestly don't know what was real and what was not.
For the first time in 39 seasons, I'm not sure when or if I'll watch the next episode of Survivor. And you know how big that is for me to say it.
