LYC: I finished the first main quest of The Outer Worlds. Quite an interesting conundrum (spoilers)

I chose to divert power from the company town and "save" the deserters. Was a bit surprised that the town basically mob-rushed me when I went back to take their power regulator. I expected some resistance but not having to mow down half the town in a bloody massacre. Pretty dark.

Trying to decide now if I should play on or restart in the super-hard/permadeath mode. I have a feeling I would really enjoy playing that style but I've also heard it is really difficult because you can only sleep in your ship and you have to eat, etc.
