My only thing with these hybrids is that a big appeal to full electric is the 90% reduction in maintenance

My general long term vehicle plan is to get an all EV for me (150+ mile range) and then get a PHEV (like the RAV, Volt, Ioniq, etc.) for the wife.

Most urban driving is under 10 miles, from what I recall. The most we drive around town in a given day is usually less than 50km.
