I think if stealing signs was really as egregious as you're making it, it would all be outlawed.

There's no silly distinction between taking steroids by hand, and having technology inject to all your players for you. It's just all outlawed.
There's no silly distinction between betting for your team, and betting against your team. Gambling on baseball is all outlawed.
Why is there a legal way to cheat?
Sure, it's more prominent doing it with cameras, and they get more production out of it, but stealing signs is part of the culture of baseball.
They should be punished similar to what happened to New England with Spygate. A fine and a loss of a first round draft pick.
