In response to "who the front runners as replacement? -- nm" by Beaker

Too early to say who'll run. Won't be a dozen like last time as it has only been 30 months since the last one, not 13 years.

Peter Mackay has to run now or go away forever. (Prefer the latter.)

Erin O'Toole was the only runner-up of the last group to come out of the last leadership stronger than when he went in. (Was my pony in 2017, but not leaping onboard.)

Michael Chong may have to run to represent his constituency. (I hope he does and then does something like endorse a second choice.)

Bernard Lord's name has come up this morning. (Meh.)

Rona Ambrose will have a bunch of people pushing her. (I dunno what it is, but I find I don't gravitate to her at all. Plus, it's the East's turn.)

James Moore/John Baird are still-young Harper hands who would both mobilize people, but may have moved on.

Gerard Deltell is my darkhorse favorite right now. Two term Quebec MP. Former Radio-Canada journalist. Former ADQ leader in Quebec. Good communicator in english. Great communicatior in french.
