The cat was pissed she was caught. About 15 years ago.

this was an Abyssinian I had that was deaf. And a couple times I saw coyotes in a field about a mile from my apartment. I spent a couple hours a night and morning looking for her. Had put up signs everywhere. I had pretty much started to give up.
I got a call from someone that said they caught her. (This was the forth call and the other three didn't pan out, other cats) so I was like okay sure let me come down. They had put her in their car. Sure enough under the car seat there she was. They had two daughters about 3-5 years old that were upset because they wanted to keep her.
I offered them a hundred bucks but they refused to take it. She adjusted back home after about 48 hours. My guess is that she was having the time of her life being outside.
She was found about 70 yards from my front door walking in the parking lot.
