I shop HEB. They do EDLP. Roma and regular are the same price.

I do eat healthy and extremely frugally. Until my cherry tomatoes ripen fresh ones from the grocery are a luxury item. Some women shop for shoes/clothes - I stop at the store every night on the way home to see what's on sale. I can quote prices on almost any grocery item My general rule of thumb for the meat dept is "If it's less than 2.00lb it's a deal." I buy in large quantities and divide it up into 1-1 1/2lb containers to freeze. (lately we've been eating a lot of 1.99lb boneless chicken breast)
